A female Bald Eagle takes flight after being release at the Anchorage Golf Course by The Bird Treatment and Learning Center Sunday evening, May 22, 2005. The eagle, which was rescued in Seward, suffered from a bad crop after eating from a rotten carcass. Since 1988 Bird T.L.C., a non-profit organization, has been dedicated to rehabilitating sick, injured or orphaned wild birds and providing avian education programs to the public.
